The acknowledgement of the mere existence of soul can bring about the acceptance or question of "faith", something "beyond science", "we can't see or measure it", a spiritual existence... you know.

In Hindu Dharma, the vedas say "Aham Brahmasmi" - saying the God is within you. Now, as I see it, this is conscience, this is the will of a human to do something helpful to another living being, and that, I belive is the real miracle of life.

Before the big bang, when there was no matter, space or time, there existed a point of singularity, consisting of gravity, electromagnetism and nuclear forces within a zero space/time region (impossible to imagine, I know). Now, one day of the Brahma or one life cycle of universe (big bang to big tear) was created by this point of singularity and, we see all these phenomenon in our everyay lives in every atom, in every "soul" - so there you go.

There's no "halo" or "white glowing light" constituting your spirit or there's no external control of your mind (beyond the ones you can measure I mean).

My point is - I am not saying anything that we haven't known forever... but, somehow we choose to believe in crazy stuff... Why? Is it so hard to believe your life force is only because of your evolved organs and the complex human brain functions? Why do people pray? If it's a calming, relaxation method, there's a lot more of where that came from...
Why is the known not acknolwedged as firmly as removing any question of unknown?... Know what I am saying?

Bloggin again

What's up with it Vanilla face?

I am going to start blogging again.
I don't know about what... yet... I am writing as I think.

My mind is somewhat dislocated.
I have a topic here: memory storage in your brain.
This one day I was sitting on my couch in the living room and just grasped around the whole scenery I was living in. I realized that it was becoming a memory in my brain. It's not just the scenery, all the 5 senses (maybe 6?) wrote something to my hard drive (brain) and as I thought more about this, I realized that there was some other activity in my brain occuring simultaneously. My mind was searching for a anchor (another memory or file) that reminded me of something that I has experienced as a kid. My living room reminded me of a living room of a family who my dad used to live during his student days. I realized it was probably the grand-father's clock in my living room that cross-connected the 2 memories.
Anyway, the point I am trying to make is that there are a bunch of memories we live through. Then, as you experience more, instead of storing information as brand-new file, the brain finds an anchor or something common and stores fewer bits/bytes??? Is that possible?
Does the brain optimize the memory by finding anchors and so, we are only left with this pallette of experiences that the brain picks from. HOW DO I ADD MORE "FEELINGS" OR "FILES"?? I believe I need to do something totally new and do more stuff like that.
The idea is to dislocate my mind and utilize all the brain cells. Maybe that's going to help me create/learn new stuff??
Any thoughts?

November Rain

If we could take the time to lay it on the line
I could rest my head
Just knowin' that you were mine... all mine

So if you want to love me
then darlin' don't refrain

Or I'll just end up ridin'
In the cold November rain

The need for speed

Have you ever had to react instinctively to any situation? Has your body ever moved so fast that you were actually surprised by it? and you were glad you did move that fast?
Adrenaline - the chemical that makes your body react to stimuli so fast that it might actually make you ... almost... superhuman for that instant.... and superhuman you can be. You'd feel like a superhero when you realize that you reacted and did the exact thing that you should have... timing everything perfectly... perfect sync of mind and body... perfect coordination... perfect compensation to surprises... wow! You feel like a master of time and space!
That's how I feel when I ride my motorcycle. I know, it's not a "Rajvidhya" (super specialized skill) or something that takes enlightenment to learn but, it makes me feel like a superhero. I feel like I can move so fast that I actually can control space and time. In fact, so much so that I can't go slower than twice the speed limit on any road... which brings me to the point I wanted to make in this post. Some people believe defensive driving (or riding) is the safer option. I have come to believe, that a good offense is the best defense. For example, if you are travelling at least 1.5 times the average speed of the rest of the traffic, you tend to look forward, you are now the high frequency system who can manouver through the lower frequency system, you are ahead of the rest of the commotion and you are alert... but, if you going as slow as the rest of the traffic, you tend to watch your back and ergo, lose confidence to manouver... you hit a resonance frequency there... see what I mean?

The art/science of telling stories

Have you ever wondered why some people are better in communication than others? It's not necessarily language. There are people with very good vocabulary, who get great scores in verbal tests, who cannot really communicate so well.

I was wondering what is it that makes a great speaker. I believe it is the art of telling stories.
The western education systems predominantly encourage stuff like "show and tell", story telling, etc. which is given absolutely no importance in countries like India. Indians are terrific in problem-solving but, are poor story tellers. Come to think of it, average Indians live through a lot of fun experiences in everyday life and fail to quite recognize the humor in situations.

The stand-up comedians are some of the best story-tellers. They pick the most mundane, ordinary things to talk about and tell stories that make it, oh so funny. They inspire me to learn to tell stories, communicate and find humor in everyday situations.

George Carlin, one of the funniest angry man, says "Every joke has one exaggeration". My favorite comedian, Ron "Tater Salad" White is the king of story telling. Some of his stories are from such ordinary situations, I am very impressed by the way he brings out the humor in it.

As a kid, I had completely overlooked the importance of communication and now, I am inspired to catch up. You might catch me telling stories about the most mundane things from now on... although I don't wanna overdo that...

One hand in my pocket

I'm broke but I'm happy
I'm poor but I'm kind
I'm short but I'm healthy, yeah
I'm high but I'm grounded
I'm sane but I'm overwhelmed
I'm lost but I'm hopeful baby
What it all comes down to
Is that everything's gonna be fine fine fine
I've got one hand in my pocket
And the other one is giving a high five

I feel drunk but I'm sober
I'm young and I'm underpaid
I'm tired but I'm working, yeah
I care but I'm worthless
I'm here but I'm really gone
I'm wrong and I'm sorry baby
What it all comes down to
Is that everything's gonna be quite alright
I've got one hand in my pocket
And the other one is flicking a cigarette
What it all comes down to
Is that I haven't got it all figured out just yet
I've got one hand in my pocket
And the other one is giving the peace sign

I'm free but I'm focused
I'm green but I'm wise
I'm shy but I'm friendly baby
I'm sad but I'm laughing
I'm brave but I'm chicken shit
I'm sick but I'm pretty baby
And what it all boils down to
Is that no one's really got it figured out just yet
I've got one hand in my pocket
And the other one is playing the piano
What it all comes down to my friends
Is that everything's just fine fine fine
I've got one hand in my pocket
And the other one is hailing a taxicab...

- Alanis Morsette

Free rising!

Gravity...rules everything on Earth. Everything.
Laws - not just laws of physics, laws of nature, humanity... evolution itself is controlled by gravity. Considering the incredible power of gravity, I was surprised that there's not much research to ... control gravity!
Stay with me here - gravitational energy is never going to deplete - as long as Earth doesn't go on a fat free diet and reduces mass. If we discover... or invent a way to tap this potential energy, we basically change the world - a thought for Nobel prize.... this does not mean devising a mechanism to just USE the gravitational energy (we already do this quite a bit), but, to CONTROL the energy.
This is a philosophy I am talking about - not yet science.
Imagine this - instead of free falling, what if you could free rise? Rise at an acceleration equal to 9.81 m/square sec. What if you could control the direction and magnitude of the acceleration gravity vector? Sounds extreme?
Begining of 1900s, there were many scientists thinking about this - most prominent being Albert Einstein himself. He said gravity is the warping of SPACE and TIME. Space and time meet at a point - at the black holes! Whatever that meant.

Anyways, the point I am trying to make is that modern day scientists are becoming very narrow minded. There are billions spent on dead-end researches and extreme ideas are ridiculed.
Ask yourself this question: If engineers kept working on making the propeller technology better - by making better nuts, bolts, bearings, lighter material, etc., do you think we would have seen the JET engines today? Somebody completely started thinking different from the BASICS - thought out of the box! Now, that is science.

Kaliyuga Avatara:

Welcome.

In my first post, I will talk about the supernatural, the omnipotent, the omniscient, the ruler of the universe, the one within me. My focus in not after or before-life, not the free-ride we get on this planet around the sun, but, just the immediate past and the immediate future timeline.

Is there any force than you can't obviously see that affects us? If so, how? Can I control the force? I don’t want a scientific explanation - just some explanation. I kind of believe in the concept of Karma and believe that the whole universe will eventually unwrap the way it has to - but, this is not the timeline I am concerned about, I am talking about "NOW".

Do you think the Gods we know can be of any help ASAP? Do we need a simplified system to control the supernatural? As long as you are seeking the right things - world peace, unconditional love, and balance in everyone's life - we should be able to use the supernatural force to the benefit of the world. I know it sounds hokey, but, with the change in our lifestyle, we should expect a change in God, right? We don’t hang on to any old gadgets, why hang on to old methods of controlling the supernatural? It's time to discover.. or invent something to control the supernatural and use it only to make the world a better place.

Make no mistake, I am not seeking to recognize a person as God but, to simplify and make the system of ... praying ...foolproof. If you seek the right thing, you should have only the positive effect of the supernatural, if any.

If we identify what kind of effect and timing the omnipotent force has, we might make it work!
